Dart and Ball Catcher

The Dart and Ball Catcher is designed to contain fluid and indicate when the coiled tubing reel has been successfully circulated and drifted.

Once the ball has been circulated through the reel it locates within the catcher ball seat. This creates a pressure build up which forces the piston downwards and allows the operator a visual indication.

The tool is also fitted with a rupture disc as standard. This feature prevents any overpressure due to plugging or any accidental downstream closure.

The lower end of the tool can be interfaced to a catch/return tank.
