The DTI Coiled Tubing Feeder Snake is a service tool that is used as a flexible guide to help feed the coiled tubing from the Coiled Tubing Reel over the Goose Neck and into the Injector.
The Feeder Snake is connected to the end of the coiled tubing with an internal connector, typically a roll-on connector and comprised a length of cable with the same outside diameter of the coiled tubing. A guide dart on the other end of the cable helps locate the cable into the injector.
