Roll-On Connector

The DTI Roll On Connector forms a sealed joint between the inside of the coiled tubing and the CT tool string or another line of coiled tubing. The joint O.D. is the same as the coiled tubing.

The tubing end must first be prepared by removing the inner bead using a DTI Bead Removal Tool* and polished to make a good seal. The Roll-On Connector can then be inserted and the tubing roll-formed over internal radii on the connector body using a DTI Roll-On Form Tool. Although not the strongest or full bore, this is a useful, cost effective, disposable connector that is quick and simple to attach. Often used for wash tool strings.
