The DTI Cement Valve will support a column of fluid in the coiled tubing until an increase in pressure is applied to the column of fluid. When the pressure inside the CT exceeds the well hydrostatic pressure by a pre-determined amount the Cement Valve will open.

The Cement Valve has four alternative seal positions which are used to pre-set the opening pressure to the desired value. The spring stack configuration can also be changed to increase or decrease the opening pressure. Operation is fully repeatable with the valve opened by increasing internal pressure and closed by decreasing internal pressure.

It can be used for many CT operations where a specific quantity of fluid is to be placed at a desired location in the well.
