Jetting Circulation Valve
FUNCTIONALITY
DEPLOYMENT
SECTORS
The DTI Coiled Tubing Jetting Circulation Valve is multi cycle valve that enables controlled high-flow rate fluid directed to either the tubing annulus or through the valve.
By pumping fluid to the Jetting Circulation Valve, and meeting the activation pressure, the fluid will be directed to the tubing annulus. The jetting flow path will remain in this position as long as the fluid pressure is maintained. When the jetting pressure is reduced to CT circulating (low) pressure, the valve will change position. When fluid is next pumped to the activation pressure, the fluid will be directed through the valve.
This pumping cycle can be repeated as often as required, alternating flow direction to the annulus or through the valve. The tool remains in the position until the next cycle is performed. The Jetting Circulation Valve can be used with the various DTI Jetting Nozzle wash tools which are available with various jetting port angle and size options.
Typical applications would be using an angled jetting nozzle to clean the side wall of tubular valves, FIV valves, nipple profiles or SSD sliding side doors.
Features & Benefits
- Reliable cam design enables consistent, controlled switching between annular flow and internal flow.
- High grade material helps prevent abrasive wash-out
- Simple setup, minimum seals with easy redress.
