DTI's Pump Out Standing Valve is run below a Lock Mandrel or a DTI Bridge Plug to enable the pressure testing of the well bore from above and then, by over pressuring the valve above a pre-set level, shear out a plug to give large flow area to enable production through the plug without any further intervention.
The Valve incorporates plug which is held in be shear pins. The number and type of shear pins can be configures to give the required shear out pressure. The plug includes a ball and seat so that it allows flow from below.
A catcher sub below the plug ensure the safe retrieval of the pumped out plug whilst maintain the flow area.
