Coiled Tubing 'L' Type Hydraulic Shifting Tool

SECTORS
The DTI ‘L’ Type Hydraulic Shifting Tool (LFAST) is a coiled tubing tool designed to selective open or close multiple ball drop type stimulation sleeves in a single coiled tubing trip.
The tool enables the reduction of water cut by identifying and shutting off water producing zones. For wells with narrow restrictions or with small diameter completion tubing, this technology provides the ideal expansion ratio and strength to deliver a reliable seal in lower sections of the well, that may be up to three times wider in diameter.
The shifting keys are unsupported during the running operation so that they will pass through ball seats. When pump rate is increased the shifting keys are locked into the expanded shifting position and a Stimulation Sleeve can then be shifted either upwards or downwards to open or close the sleeve.
Features and Benefits
- Shift Stimulation & Frac Sleeves without milling Ball Seats.
- Reduce water cut by selectively closing specific Sleeves.
- Shift multiple Sleeves open and closed in a single CT trip to identify water producing Valves.
- Use in combination with DTI Hammerhead Impact Hammer to shift stuck Sleeves
- Emergency Shear Release feature.
- Each tool comes with standard key and slim key options for maximum flexibility.
